Hi Movie Lovers,

My name is Donna and I love movies. I’m a professional writer, ghostwriter and published author. I’ve written screenplays and worked in the movie and television industries. As a result, my passion for movies has grown exponentially throughout the years.  People contact me all the time for my “review” of movies, wanting to know my opinions, etc.  They know they can trust me – that I have a good, commonsense approach to appreciating and loving a movie. I enjoy all types of movies whether they’re foreign, indie, romance, comedies, mystery, sci-fi, major blockbuster, or documentary. As a result of loving movies and writing about them to my friends, I decided to join the thousands of other bloggers and start my own movie blog.

The MovieBlogByDonna is a boutique, pundit site – a little blog that covers Hollywood, movies, actors, and music that’s featured in the movies or that should be on movie soundtracks. On this blog, I will write about movies I love and why you should go see them. I’ll also write about movies that you should skip. While writing about movies, I’ll write about actors, the entertainment industry and musicians. I’ll cover a lot of pop culture and breaking news if I think it’s relevant to your enjoyment or avoidance of certain films. I’ll write feature stories about theories or people who intrigue me in the movie industry. Regularly, I’ll feature guest movie bloggers by people I respect and trust. Mind you, this blog is about my opinions and my guest bloggers’ opinions. I recognize that everyone has different opinions and I respect that. I might enjoy a movie that you would hate and vice versa. We’re all entitled to our own opinions which is why movie blogging can be so much fun.
